Rita Woodward
Environmental Nature Park
Completed in 2008, the Rita Woodward Environmental Nature Park, located on the corner of Chimney Rock and Gasmer, represents a nearly 20-year effort to convert the old HISD "Frog Farm" to an instructional nature park. We maintain this park.
Support of School Programs
The Foundation provides grants to teachers and helps fund programs crucial to the success of students in all grade levels.
The Friends of Westbury High School Foundation has been providing support and scholarships to the students and teachers of Westbury since its founding in 1992.
To date, the Friends of Westbury have awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to over 300 graduating seniors.
