The Sky's the Limit 2024 Scholarship Gala
We are excited to announce that the Friends of Westbury High School Foundation Gala is back! Join us April 27, 2024 at BraeBurn Country Club for dinner, a silent auction, a cash bar with the first drink on us and a wonderful opportunity to meet the students and to honor some great community members.

It will be a fun filled evening with dinner and a silent auction. The 2024 scholarship recipients will be introduced, and their scholarships awarded.

Houston Mayor Pro Tem Martha Castex-Tatum who represents Westbury High School in her council district; and Jeri Brown, the former parent engagement coordinator, who started the I “heart” Westbury campaign will be honored. Two long-time volunteers who served on the scholarship committee and generously donated their time, talent and treasure to this organization passed away in 2019 and 2021. The gala is our first opportunity to celebrate the lives and the impact of Fred Arnold and Rusty Howard.

Welcome to the Friends of Westbury High School Foundation's website. The Friends of Westbury High School Foundation, an all-volunteer, non-profit, tax exempt organization, was founded in 1992. Thanks to the generous support of Westbury alumni, friends, and business partners, the Foundation from 1994-2023 has raised over $600,000 for scholarships for Westbury students and awarded over 300 scholarships. In addition, the organization supports school projects; such as campus landscaping, mentoring, ROTC, serving on school committees, and maintaining the Foundation website.
